Membership in the League of Women Voters is open to all persons (men and women, citizens and non-citizens) at least 16 years of age. Associate non-voting membership is open to those under 16.

Why Become a Member?

The League of Women Voters of the Hamptons, Shelter Island and the North Fork welcomes all who are interested in serving their East End community. Your membership and participation enables the League to continue and expand its activities.

THE MORE YOU PARTICIPATE, THE MORE YOU GAIN:

• Meet bright, articulate men and women of every age and background in a friendly, non-partisan environment
• Join committees aligned with your interests: the environment, government issues, healthcare on the East End, education, election reform and more
• Receive quarterly issues of The Voter with information about League activities
• Enjoy social activities throughout the year, such as our  Holiday Party and silent auction and our tours of local communities.

Membership

Membership and donations are the League’s only source of financial support. This support enables us to continue such activities as voter education,  candidate debates and meetings on topics of interest to the community.   We have three levels of membership: an individual membership for one person; a household membership for two or more individuals at the same address; and a student membership for full-time students. There is no charge for student memberships.   You may join by printing the membership form below and sending it in with your check.
