This committee studies and educates the public on issues being considered for current legislative action, issues on which we would like to see local, state or national government take action and legislative actions that affect our community. Committee members regularly meet with our state and congressional representatives and lobby for issues on which we’ve taken a position. This committee often takes the lead in studying those issues on which concurrence is sought in determining the League’s position.
